काँग्रेस नेते Husain Dalwai यांनी पक्षांतराच्या राजकारणावर टीका करत पक्ष बदलणाऱ्या लोकप्रतिनिधींनी आधी राजीनामा देऊन पुन्हा निवडणूक लढवावी, अशी मागणी केली. शिवसेना, TMC आणि इतर पक्षांतील नेते सत्ताधारी आघाडीत जाण्याच्या चर्चांवर प्रतिक्रिया देताना त्यांनी हे लोकशाही आणि संविधानाच्या विरोधात असल्याचे म्हटले. पक्षांतर रोखण्यासाठी कायद्यात सुधारणा करण्याची गरज असल्याचेही त्यांनी सांगितले. यावेळी त्यांनी Narendra Modi, Congress, Jawaharlal Nehru आणि इतर राजकीय मुद्द्यांवरही भाष्य केले.
